Problems for specialists

If you are looking for help in the health or social service sector, we can provide a list of departments that should be able to help (list enclosed on web site as well as in pharmacy).

Website

Our web site can direct you to national and local self help and health organisations, which can offer a great deal of useful and practical advice.

You may have noticed that we record all items that you bring in on our computerised Patient Medication records (PMR). Our computers alert us to any drug interactions or unusual doses. They keep track of what you collected and when, and of any itemise may have owed you from your last prescription.

Patient UK

The aim of this website is to provide non-medical people in the UK with good quality information about health and disease. The authors do this by writing evidence based information leaflets on a wide range of medical and health topics. They also review health and illness related websites and link to many of these from the web directory included on this website. UK sites are the primary links in the web directory as they feel that residents in the UK prefer to obtain health information from UK sources. They also suggest some links to selected overseas sites.
